Candidate profile: 

For the Doctoral Degree, the selection process is semiannual, with entries in March and August of each year. The selection process will take place in the months of February and July of each year, according to the calendar published in a specific notice, and at the institution of the intended advisor.

Candidates for the Doctoral Course must have completed or revalidated the Master's Course in a Postgraduate Program recognized by Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Level Personnel (CAPES).

Admission to the Doctorate will be subject to approval in a selection exam consisting of: evaluation of the curriculum vitae, written test, evaluation of a research project linked to one of the research lines of the Program (by means of a printed document) and oral presentation, followed by argument. The scoring criteria will be regulated by specific regulations of the Program and made available in a Public Notice.
